Job Description
ORBD01 Oracle Database Administrator with Sys Admin Skills

1-4 years of Experience in the relevant skills is required.

Minimum experience 1 year Maximum experience 4 years

Expertise Required:

1. Candidate should have very good Oracle DBA Skills (8i / 9i) on Unix Platform.
2. Database Backup & Recovery Experience is also required.
3. System Administration Skills on Linux / Solaris Platform is essential.
4. Knowledge of NFS is highly desirable.
5. Knowledge of Cloning / Refresh of Oracle Databases and upgrade of Databases is desirable.
6. Exposure to Oracle Application (Rel 11i) is desirable.
7. Experience in writing scripts using Shell is desirable.

Desirable Skill Set

- User Administration, Filesystem resizing, Printer Management, OS Installation and patching
- Performance Tuning, Security Implementation.
- Job Scheduling all these routine system administration are desirable.
